Borrow a blood pressure kit at your library

(Tucson, AZ) In collaboration with the American Heart Association, Pima County Public Library is excited to announce that blood pressure kits are now available for check out at all branches.

Kaley Kantor, MPH, Region Sr. Community Impact Consultant with the American Heart Association, says, "We are thrilled to work with Pima County Public Library to expand health care access to those who need it most. We are happy to stand with the Library to promote the Association's mission of being a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives."

Borrow
  • Place a hold on a kit and it will be sent to any library location for pickup.
  • Kits may be checked out for six (6) weeks, with one possible renewal, if no one is waiting.
  • Borrowers are responsible for all contents: blood pressure cuff, instructions.
  • No more than one home blood pressure kit may be borrowed at one time by one person.
Learn with the American Heart Association
Return
  • Return home blood pressure kits to any Pima County Public Library location.
  • Return kits inside the Library. Please do not use outside book return drops.
  • Blood pressure cuff must be returned in its case, with all its contents, at once.
  • Fees will be assessed if a kit is not returned, is damaged, or is returned incomplete.

Please note, library staff cannot dispense medical advice. Customers must address health questions with health care providers and the kits include referrals to Federally Qualified Health Centers offering services to the uninsured and underinsured.
