At Martha Cooper Library

A bigger library is here!

Martha Cooper Library has nearly doubled in size. The new 13,554 square foot building gives us more room to offer services to the community.

Indoor improvements

We've expanded the children's space, teens area, and programming rooms, and added study rooms. We also have a much larger space for books! You'll enjoy our expanded collection and comfortable places to read.

Outdoor improvements

The large meeting room connects to an outdoor, shaded meeting area with a sliding glass wall, allowing for large-scale indoor and outdoor events. Solar panels provide a shade structure with benches to use wifi in a shady spot. Our grass area out front is also bigger.

New at Martha Cooper Library

Proud to be an author, even prouder to be a librarian

"I see first-hand the vital role that the library plays in people’s lives far beyond the books on our shelves."

Help shape the future of your library!

This survey, available in both English and Spanish, will be open until midnight on March 17. Paper copies available at all libraries.

Meet Tom Holm, the Library's newest Writer in Residence!

Local author Tom Holm will kick off the Spring 2025 Writer in Residence program on February 5.

"I was a reader before I was a writer."
