The Enchanted Hills neighborhood in Tucson got its name because the developer wanted a King Arthur theme for his subdivision. The neighborhood was built in the early 1960s. Streets in this neighborhood have names relevant to Arthurian legend: Merlin, Camelot and Castle are examples.
The plans for the subdivision, opens a new window had been drawn by the firm Blanton & Cole, Architects - Engineers and were approved in April 1962.
The boundaries of this neighborhood are: West 36th Street on the north, South Lands End Road on the east, South La Cholla Boulevard on the west and West 44th Street on the south.
