As always, we are in awe of our Pima County Public Library community! Your generous response to the Library’s third annual holiday donation drive benefiting the homeless animals at Pima Animal Care Center (PACC) stuffed the van again this year.
Held from December 10-23, 2018, the drive netted 850 pounds and included, among other items, pet food, cookies, toys, crates, scratching posts, and plush towels and blankets to keep our animal friends warm during these long winter nights. Customers and staff at PACC were delighted with the donations. One customer commented, “Just another great reason to love libraries.” We couldn’t agree more!
Keep the love going year-round by supporting PACC and the local rescue organizations that work tirelessly to provide a second (or more) chance to the misplaced animals in Pima County. If you’re able, consider adopting or fostering. For more information, visit the PACC website.
Remember, the only thing better than reading a good book is reading next to your forever friend!
A heartfelt thank you from your friends at the Pima County Public Library.
