Two local groups help small businesses and start-ups

Introducing the Small Business Development Center

The Pima Community College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is part of a nationwide network of Centers funded by the Small Business Administration. Their goal is to help for-profit businesses start, grow, and succeed in Pima and Santa Cruz counties.

The counselors on-staff are a seasoned team of professionals, and they offer no-cost one-on-one business counseling, low or no-cost trainings, group in-person classes, and referrals to professionals in the community to help with the legal and financial issues that come with owning a small business. The center has been awarded the Center of Excellence for their commitment and assistance to clients.

They help with everything from starting your business to marketing and launching a product.
