Teens from Pima County Public Library’s Virtual Volunteer program are interviewing youth from local arts organizations to find out what teens are doing creatively this summer. Volunteer Sophia R. interviewed musician Imogen Rose who is an intern at Groundworks. Groundworks is running a camp this summer lending ukuleles to youth and teaching music.
The interviewer, Sophia R, is volunteering for the Library for the first time this year. She just graduated from Empire High School and will be attending ASU in the fall. She said,
“Volunteering has given me some purpose and interviewing Imogen taught me about a new program I had never heard of before. I've learned that there is a lot going on for artists in my community.”
