La escritura involucra los movimientos de la mano y la coordinación ojo-mano, esto ayuda a los niños a ejercitar sus habilidades motoras finas y conducir fuerte habilidades cognitivas. Juntas, estas habilidades crean una fundación para fomentar las matemáticas y preparan a su niño/a para la escuela.
Si los niños tienen un fuerte dominio de estas habilidades antes de entrar a la escuela, es mucho más probable que demuestren competencia no solo para las matemáticas sino también para la lectoescritura a lo largo de su vida académica.
Bebés
Desarrolle las habilidades motoras finas de su bebe por acariciando suavemente el dorso de la mano de su bebe con un juguete para que pueda abrir la mano de forma natural. Luego puede colocar el juguete en sus manos y ellos deberían poder agarrarlo.
Niños de 18 a 36 Meses

When children have a strong foundation in these skills before kindergarten, they are far more likely to demonstrate abilities not only in math but also in literacy skills throughout their academic lives.
Babies
Develop fine motor skills for your baby by gently stroking the back of your baby’s hand with a toy so that they can naturally open their hand. You can then place the toy in their hands and they should be able to grab it.
Toddlers
Provide building blocks to your toddler to build fine motor skills. It will also help build hand-eye coordination and is a fun way for them learn and express their imagination.
Preschoolers
Encourage your child to make a plan when you go out, whether it is visiting family or just running errands. Ask them to write or draw a plan for the day ahead of time or on the spot when they arrive. Not only will they develop their fine motor skills with writing, but also learn how to design a process by writing out a plan while problem solving.

Read, Write, Talk, Sing, Play!
