To All the Boys I've Loved Before is a wonderful read--funny, sweet and full of teen drama! Lara Jean Song Covey is new to the "real boyfriend" scene but she's no newbie to crushes. She even writes love letters to ex-crushes and saves them in a treasured hatbox as keepsakes, forever for her eyes only. But O-M-G! Imagine the humiliating and fantastic fallout that ensues when those letters hit real mailboxes. Things are going to get very interesting.....
Not only will readers adore quirky, naive Lara Jean, they'll respect her. She's caring, responsible and family oriented, really an awesome role model. It's also cool that the author, Jenny Han, introduces teen issues in a very gentle, clean way, making this an approachable read for younger teens. Many ages can enjoy Han's writing!
After reading To All the Boys I've Loved Before, I'm just dying to know what happens to Lara Jean and Peter or Josh or [insert name of best guy for Lara Jean.] Fortunately, the sequel, P.S. I Still Love You will be out in May. Seems like a long time to wait so I am hoping Han shares some secrets at the festival. See you there!
