Art Exhibit ~ Nina Gardner

Sahuarita Library invites you to an exhibit by local artist Nina Gardner, on display until November 29, 2024.


Artist Statement:

Nina Gardner is originally from Russia and moved to the United States twelve years ago. She received her bachelor’s degree in Cartographic Sciences from Moscow University. Nina previously worked as an instructor at four universities in Colombia (South America). In 2019 she graduated from PCC with a degree in Digital Arts & Graphic Design. Currently she works as Administrative Coordinator at Pima Community College. Nina is fluent in English, Spanish and Russian languages.
 
Nina has traveled to different countries such as Colombia, Turkey, Brazil, Costa Rica, Spain, the South-Afican Republic and Hong-Kong. Her multicultural views have formed her personal artistic style that reflects in her creative photography. Her focus is on abstract, close ups of nature, landscapes and portrait styles. Nina tries to convey a special meaning through her photographs that is reflected in the titles. She tries to tell the story behind each unique image that urges the viewers to use imagination, possibly discovering something new and exciting.
Nina has been passionate about photography for years. Her photo works were published in several local magazines. They also participated in local photography exhibitions in different Pima County public libraries.
