Art Exhibit ~ James Capo

Oro Valley Library invites you to an exhibit of photography by local artist James Capo. The photographs will be on display until January 15, 2024.

Artist Statement:

James Capo is an Oro Valley-based, award-winning nature and wildlife photographer. His work has appeared in publications such as Arizona Highways magazine and the Lonely Planet guides, and the newly-published National Geographic book, The Atlas of Wild America. His work is included in the Tucson Medical Center’s “Healing Art” program.

James finds inspiration in the beauty, majesty and mystery of creation, and hopes that, in his photos, you will find a sense of awe and appreciation at the wonder of the natural world.

James has trained his lens on scenic locations and wildlife from Arizona to Alaska, Australia, Asia and Africa. (He’s still missing Antarctica, though!). In this exhibit…

A Safari Experience

… James takes you to the southern-African nation of Botswana, along the Chobe River, to an area noted for its biological diversity, and for being home to the densest concentration of elephants on the continent.
