Joel D. Valdez Main Library invites you to an exhibit, Retrospectiva, by local artist Louis Carlos Bernal, on display from October 1- November 10, 2024.
Artist Statement:
Louis Carlos Bernal: Retrospectiva is an immersive and interactive pop-up exhibit from the Center for Creative Photography, featured in the lobby of the Joel D. Valdez Library from October 1 to November 10. The exhibit features photographs and collaborations by Bernal, a pioneering photographer based in Tucson who highlighted the lives of Mexican Americans in the Southwest.
