Are you ready for the November election?

"Voting is the expression of our commitment to ourselves, one another, this country and this world."

- Sharon Salzberg

Early voting has started, and vote-by-mail ballots have been sent out. This post is intended to give you the information you need to be ready for election day, Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

Your one-stop shop for voter information is Pima Votes. This is a combined website of the Pima County Recorder's Office and the Elections Department. It has easy links to voting location maps, sample ballots, voter registration checks, early ballot tracking, important election dates and more.

This Make A Plan flyer helps you quickly find answers to common questions about the election if you’re not finding what you need at Pima Votes. It includes information about early voting, tracking your ballot, and links to look for results after the polls close.

For voting locations, whether voting early, emergency voting, dropping off a ballot, or voting on election day, the County’s Voting Site Locations Map can help you quickly find the voting location most convenient to you. For early voting sites, the Recorder has this list. Be sure to check the dates and times early voting sites are open, because it may vary depending on the day you want to vote.

If you would rather speak to someone in person than hunt for information on the world wide web, here are the numbers:

  • Pima County Recorder's Office: 520-724-4330 (Voter registration, early voting, ballot drop off)
  • Pima County Elections Department: 520-724-6830 (Election Day Voting)

We have an elections page with important dates and a link to the Secretary of State's Office where you can find information on the 2024 ballot measures, including arguments for and against various measures.

The Library also hosted two forums for voter information in September—one from the Citizen's Clean Elections Commission and one from the League of Women Voters of Greater Tucson. Click the links below to watch the recordings.
