Set in a world filled with mythical creatures a boy named Eragon finds what he believes to be a stone while on a hunt. He soon discovers that the "stone" is actually a dragon egg, which he names Saphira. But Eragon is not the only one who knows of Saphira. With two of the Kings servants chasing after him, Saphira and him must set off to find answers to questions he never thought he would be asking himself.
This book kept me on the edge of my seat as it was a fast paced, page turner, late night to early morning read. With twists and turns that have you questioning your mental stability all while trying to fight of sleep from your previous all nighter. If you are a returning fantasy reader or a beginner I highly suggest this book. But be warned it is a series that will have you begging for the next book.
